This has genuinely been a comfort song to me throughout this year, and I wanted to make a visual on it. From the dream-like production to the somewhat humorous lyrics, this is literally one of my favorite songs of all time. The Ghost Pop Tape Movie has been a huge influence in my edits, and this one is where I just let the footage run its course. I would normally make edits where it's always flashy and offbeat, but I wanted to make this as if you can fall asleep to it.

I've been listening to a lot of Death Grips for the past few months. The Powers That B was such an earworm to me, ESPECIALLY Disc 1, and The Money Store is one of my favorite 9/10 albums and has been on my daily rotation for a while now.
I'm surprised I haven't made an edit with their songs at all, their music goes really well with this type of editing style.

I've made edits with Tyler's music before, but I never finished them. Only reason why it took 6 hours to make was because I was watching the new Madea film. Don't Tap The Glass is a pretty good album (like a decent 7/10) and Sucka Free is currently my favorite track on it.
I'm surprised I haven't made any more edits with his music, might have to do one off Cherry Bomb or CMIYGL.
This is also the first edit in widescreen that I've finished. It's honestly hard to edit in this aspect ratio.

It's been a while since I've made an edit in a day. A lot has happened since I made my last edit and that lead to a huge burnout both creatively and mentally. This was just another rare burst of energy to work on something I wanted to do for a while.

Making an edit to this song is one of the coolest ways to help visualize what it could look like to each person, and this was my interpretation.

I've been meaning to do this edit since Valentine's Day, but I never got the chance because I was so busy with other plans. I only did it now because I had a burst of energy late at night and I started being productive for the first time in weeks.
I also tried to record myself, but I wanted my face to be like, REALLY close to the camera, just to add a sense of discomfort. I don't know if that kind of effect worked for y'all, you be the judge.

I started this edit when I considered this album as my favorite (this usually changes every 2 weeks or so). To be honest, I did rush this project because I wanted to release it on Christmas so you can tell what parts of the video either took a few days to just less than an hour.

instead of going to the homecoming dance, I watched SNL and made this short edit.
one thing I loved about watching tv was the infomercials. selling the most useless products at a cheap price with expensive shipping on tv seems a bit off, but the fact that they'll give me a second one for free had me sold.

this took about 4 days to make because of school, and rendering was painful. the compression was heavy when I first rendered it because there was too much going on, however all I did was just change the bitrate and it's somewhat fine so . yeah..
