college update! - I managed to get the records I need, I'm pretty much all set.
okay that's out of the way, bad news guys... my file hoster has run out of space.
I've been using file garden for about 2 years now and it's been the main place I've hosted all of my files for the website. right now, they announced that server costs have risen ~10-20% and Grant (the owner of FG) has been paying for server and hosting costs out of pocket, meaning my hosting limit went from 15gb to 2gb.
now for my files, they won't be deleted, I just can't upload any more because I'm already at 4gb.
honestly, I could just use neocities as my main hoster. I literally only used up 5mb because everything else is hosted on file garden, and I might have to delete old pages because I don't need them.
I could honestly pay for their supporter tier, it's surprisingly cheap ($5/month), but I'm very stingy with my money, especially as a broke college freshmen going to new york, so it's at least for a purpose.
maybe if I can make some passive income, I would transfer back and pay for neocities, and even then, most of these blog photos won't take up much space.

out of nowhere, I just impulsively bought a memory stick adapter. why? for my psp.
yeah, when I was on the phone with a friend of mine last night, our talk about modding 3ds' made me realize that I have a psp fat model that can definitely be modded if I wanted to because I haven't used it in months and I need an excuse to bring it to college if I get bored.
I already have the micro sd card to transfer files and such, but I need to get the adapter, so I instantly got it and it should be coming in about an hour or so.
all I want to do with it is just play gameboy advance games and maybe gran turismo if I'm bored. I'm not going all out with modding everything with it, just wanna play certain games that I know I'm gonna play.

okay, the school might've accepted my loan.
when I went to check my billing, my balance only had 107 dollars instead of like, 10 grand. felt a huge relief from that half. only thing that I need is my immunization record in check so I can finally move in.
last week was genuinely stressful for both of these problems and that ruined my whole flow for this month, this month is looking like a 5/10 right now.
honestly just have to thug it out for like, a week in a half.

honestly, why haven't I called my school earlier?
so my loan hasn't been accepted by the school for weeks, which makes it harder for me for register for my classes, which makes me harder for me to move in. sure, I've emailed them and everything, but that didn't do dick.
everyone kept telling me to try and call them, but I kept pushing that idea aside. it was only until today that I had enough and I'm genuinely about to leave in like, 2 weeks.
I called the main school, they put me on hold to the student accounts for about an hour because about 10 callers were ahead of me. as soon as I got to a representative, they immediately pump faked me and got me on hold again. after a bit, they put me to the financial aid office, but 4 other callers were ahead as well. 20 minutes later, I finally got ahold with a representative and all they told me was that there was a federal loan that I forgot to decline in order for my private loan to be certified.
hopefully, that took care of everything and I should be ready to go. I was extremely patient with them.
other than that, this week has been pretty boring... but I opened up a bank account! had too much cash in hand so I need to put it somewhere, might even have to open up a savings account as well.
another thing that feels off is that I don't think I've been eating a lot lately. like it's becoming more noticable for me. been trying to fix that habit, but it's probably because I've been back to staying up all night again and waking up at 1pm these past few days. it kinda sucks because whenever I eat nowadays, I've gotten slower to finish and it feels like I get full instantly. now it's gotten to the point that my arms look more boney than usual and I don't like it.

I keep forgetting that my new laptop doesn't have an sd card slot, so I can't even get pictures from my point and shoot to my computer unless I buy an adapter. instead of buying said adapter, I just took the pictures from the point and shoot on my phone.
anyway, I went to the club for the first time last night.
I wanted to bring my camcorder to the event, but I knew it was going to be dark for a majority of the night, so I figured I just bring a point and shoot camera because it has a flash... and it actually takes good photos.
honestly, they have this nostalgic film look to it, and I kinda like it more than the original raw image.
now for the club itself, it was awesome, 9/10.
the only reason it's not a 10 was because it wasn't as hyped as I thought initially, and there wasn't a lot of people at first even though I arrived when it started (which was around like 10:30pm). it was a y2k/2010s night, but it primarily played more 2010s music. to be honest, I felt like a poser being there in the beginning because they played a lot of hits that I didn't know the lyrics to and everybody was so excited as I looked confused but kept dancing through it.
by the time was almost 11:30pm, they started playing songs I know and I got people to create a mosh pit circle over pop songs, it was fun. also encountered people I knew I would've never thought would be there, and I realized that everyone really do know each other in this area.
the event ended around 2am, and I went home after. if clubs are like this in dc, I can't even imagine what it'd be like in nyc. I wanna go to a emo night instead tho. if I want to be in a crowded event, I'd expect a lot more people moving at all once, especially with heavy ass music.

ok new york city, you won me over... again.
I came into my college orientation with the thought of it being a really run down school with uninteresting students and soon-to-be drug addicts. I was half-wrong.
the school feels very inclusive and I don't think I'm gonna be that disapointed to go there as much as I used to, the campus is pretty nice.
I can say a lot for the city itself, there's too much to bring up, but that's just stories I'll have to bring up later because I've only gotten about 10 hours of sleep since thursday to saturday and I'm extremely tired. as soon as I got home saturday morning, I knocked the fuck out for about 9 hours and woke up around 4pm.
probably won't be blogging as much since I gotta start getting ready to leave by the end of the month. I also have to finish editing my summer vlog, which is basically just a compilation of clips I recorded on my camcorder, won't go to crazy on the editing like I always do.
